Live Action Role-Playing (LARP)

From Left to Right:  Me, Conrad Schnakenberg as an Undead Thingy,
Cheryl Murphy, and Terence Reilly as the BudLite Man.

I was indoctrinated into the wonderful world of LARPing about nine years ago, and my life has never been the same since.  I've traveled all over the Northeastern US, played all manner of strange and interesting characters, and met up with some extremely cool people.  Ever since I started LARPing, I've always wanted to create a LARP of my very own.  A while ago, Colleen (my wife) and I ran a few LARPs on Long Island using the TAYUS rules set (TAYUS, by the way, stands for The As Yet Unnamed System).  However, the TAYUS ruleset left a lot to be desired and I struggled with creating a newer, better LARP system.

At present, I'm trying to figure out a way to run a LARP on Long Island.  I also help to run the very excellent Prophecy LARP, which is located in Northeastern MA.  You can view their current website by clicking here.

I'm currently playing Atlas Adventures!, in which I N. Ulysses Burridge, pulp fiction writer and adventurer!

I'm also terribly excited that Exile is starting up again.  In this game, I'll be playing Maxwell Steed, captain of the dashing, Corsair ship Red Phoenix.
