Welcome!  This is the rather primitive beginning of the website for the Prophecy LARP.  Hopefully, this site will be expanded upon greatly in the weeks and months to come.  At present, this site provides rather bare bones information for the players and the staff of Prophecy.

A Call to the Citizens of Arden

His reverence Abbot Brefalus of Vauren Abbey sends forth this invitation to intrepid Citizens of our Noble Kingdom, to take up residence in the vicinity of the Vauren Abbey, in the Demesne of Marsace.  The Village of Vaurendale has been left unoccupied and the Abbey exposed to danger by the removal of the 35th Regiment of the Royal Army to do battle in our Valiant War against the Menace of the Grith.

Vauren Abbey has stood as Bastion amidst the Dark Unknown of the Feresheth for Two Hundred Years, though the chaotic forces of the Wilds strive ever to see its downfall.  New Defenders of Vaurendale are needed to stand as a force opposed to these predations.  All skills and talents will be of use in this Defense, and thus any Citizen of Arden is welcome to take up this Call.  Additionally, those indentured as Bondsfolk may seek to have their service commuted to the Abbey.  Consultation with the regional Sheriff shall accomplish this. 

In return, Vauren Abbey will provide the Defenders of Vaurendale with a stipend and lodging during the term of their Defense.  At the time of Victory over the Grith and the Return of military protection to the area, all Defenders shall be awarded a Tract of Land in the Region, and any Bondsfolk among them shall be Freed.
